Overview

As a core member of the integration team to update Starwood Hotels’ 11 digital brand sites and migrate to Marriott.com, we completed this massive undertaking in a mere four months. This required writing and editing on a rapid-response basis, ensuring the integrity of each brand and compliance to accessibility standards.

Objective

To communicate the value of Starwood’s 11 brands to our users; fully integrate all brand sites onto Marriott.com; maintain and advance the integrity of each brand.

Process

  • Established working relationships with Aloft, Design Hotels, Le Meridien, and Tribute Portfolio brand teams

  • Collaborated with each team to fully understand brand standards

  • Wrote new, on-brand content within an extraordinarily tight timeline

  • Edited and aligned existing content on a rapid-response basis

  • Reviewed and updated content for compliance with ADA requirements

Results

  • Launched all brand sites on budget and on schedule

  • Recipient of an Adrian, gold award
